Harry Redknapp doesn't think Man City should be punished for fiddling the books. That's Harry Redknapp who opened a bank account in Monaco in the name of his dog to avoid tax.

If I get up in the night to pee I'll find it hard to get back to sleep, however if the dog wakes me up to go out, then I'll pee in the garden with her in the night air and I get back to sleep immediately. Regardless of dog I now just garden pee between 2am to 5:30am. Bliss.

Five corporations control 90% of the US media. Airlines have merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today. A handful of companies control the pharmaceutical industry. Four giants control 80% of meat processing. The evidence of corporate concentration is everywhere.

There is no middle ground with the kind of people who attack the RNLI. We don’t need to ‘listen’ to them. We need to tell them where to go.

On Tuesday, the Trades Union Congress passed a motion to support the campaign to enshrine the right to food in UK law. 14.1 million people across our country are living in food poverty. We are the 5th richest country in the world. No one should be going hungry.

The Ed Sheeran thing really does demonstrate that this isn't just an obsession of a fringe group of lefty weirdos. Supporting Palestinians against Israeli genocide is a really normie position. The problem is support for Israel remains an absolutely immovable condition for the *elite*.

There's only one solution to the danger of an AI-triggered nuclear war: decommission all nuclear weapons everywhere. On paper, the major powers are signed up to this objective. Now they need to do something about it.

Labour's problem with big donors is they have nothing else. They waged war on their own membership and base so they have no subs and no volunteers anymore. All they have is big donors.

Jeremy Corbyn built the Labour Party to nearly 600,000 members. Guess how much 600,000 members paying a £5 monthly membership equates to? Answer: £36 million a year. You don’t need crypto bros when you have party powered by ordinary people like you and me.

A women’s rights campaigner cares about domestic violence, about rape and assault and femicide, about misogyny, equal pay, women’s health, education, media bias, that sort of thing. If you’re thinking of someone who just hates on trans people, you’re looking for another word.

When masked thugs radicalised by racist hate blockade ports and threaten harm, the police make zero arrests, and the response of the government is to issue a statement sympathising with the protesters' aims and only mildly rebuking their actions, we have a big fucking problem.

The greatest global threat to both peace and a habitable planet is the government of the USA. It has been so for a long time, but Trump has nixed the deniability. We should stop treating it as an ally that has mysteriously gone astray and start treating it as a hazard to be avoided and contained.
