There's a lot of crafting talent Minnesota-wide. Nice to see it on display supporting our residents--all of them!

It's not "evil AI agents", it's people, stupid, ordinary, lazy people. Us. It's always us. AI is simply faster at getting there. Give the interns a week and see how much trouble they'll get into.

How is it that we have all this #AI available, yet no one has been able to create a banking/credit card notification that makes one sound for debit and a different sound for credit?

Standing at my bathroom sink this morning, I glanced at the mirror and saw a large inky black #bird "sitting" on my shoulder, glaring at me. I whipped around to see a big black #crow out in my tree in the perfect spot to be reflected at shoulder level in my mirror. Good thing I'm not superstitious!

Happy Caturday 🐾🤍

A dark, textured background with handwritten-style white text that reads: “Maybe yesterday made you feel defeated… but today is here to give you another chance. So please don’t waste it. Do something truly important. Pet a kitty.” In the bottom right corner, a fluffy black cat with big round white eyes looks forward. A speech bubble next to the cat adds: “And feel less shitty.”

Tip for Android users: changing your "Private DNS" setting to dns.adguard-dns.com will block a huge amount of ads in your browser AND in various apps at the DNS level. For example, this reduces the ads I see when using YouTube by about 95%. And it's free, no account required.

Urban fantasy author Charles de Lint just published a new "novelet" and released it for free, his stories of myth and magic and community and found family are full of so much love and hope and we could all use some of that right now www.charlesdelint.com/IceOut.html

Screenshot of a book cover showing an illustration of a crow perched on an "ICE" jacket lying in the middle of a snow-lined road under the light of a full moon. The cover reads "ICE Out " by Charles de Lint. Text to the right of the cover reads "ICE came to Newford. Big mistake." and "Download for free!"

This chart really illustrated the difference in ICE enforcement that happened in Minnesota, and the same thing in other States. Minnesota was definitely hit way out-of-proportion really, really hard.

A Valentine’s Day cartoon for @newscientist.com

Title: A Valentine’s Day experiment

In an effort to test the efficacy of cupids arrows of desire.

A placebo group is shot with regular arrows.

Their injuries range from moderate to sever.

Unexpectedly, romances struck up in hospital and lawyers’ waiting rooms create a "romance ratio" similar to that of magic arrows.

However, once the cost of compensation claims is factored in, it is decided to discontinue.
