When a level does get verified it's then made publicly playable, so he quickly went online to play it himself. But can you guess? Everyone in the Geometry Dash scene doing the same thing has crashed the servers.

My kiddo is flipping out right now. He just saw the hardest level in the history of Geometry Dash get verified (which means someone played it fairly to completion to prove it's do-able). A guy had been trying for two years and just did it. It took him 436,879 attempts.

It absolutely was game design. I never lie about games.
A journaling game by Paul Czege titled Seeds and Honey written for this year's Pike's Peak Zine Fest Anthology. It's a two-page spread. You can't clearly read the text, but the art shows a woman baking bread and a black and white hen.

Six journaling games all published within a month. No author names on them. They're certainly AI. 🤮This is the second seller with multiple AI generated journaling games I've seen. The AI sloppers think journalgamers are an easy mark?

If you see this, post a vampire that isn't Dracula This guy was a collab by me and John Singer Sargent for the front of a journaling game by me and my son.
The front of Vampyres Are People Too, "a journaling game about being a vampyre and making your life better" by Czege & Son. the illustration is John Singer Sargent's Dr. Pozzi at Home, of the handsome gynecologist in a red robe, photoshopped to look like an un-handsome vampyre.

Happy Oct 1. It's my favorite time of the year, so I wanted to create something to get into the spooky mood. I made a #solojournalingrpg #zine you can print and play. It's called A Ghost's Story; you are a ghost answering a visitor's questions, but you can only use one word! Free at a0rtega.itch.io
a photo of a small form zine folded into its booklet form. It is standing on top of an unfolded version of the zine. In the background is the original artwork for the zine. Also in the background is a replica of a human skull underneath a lamp.

I take a fresh photo just like this too when I release a new journaling game/zine, and the subtext is always the worthiness of collecting them. In all other art spheres people collect the whole of a creator's work, knowing it's expressively related. For some reason games people buy onesy twosie.

When I write about playing journaling games, in The Ink that Bleeds, and in my other zines and games, with excerpts from my own play and summarizing of it, my goal is for readers to have both of two reactions: 1) A sense that journalgaming is affecting and meaningful 2) A belief they can do it

Also, I love the presence of RPG creators at craft and art and zine events where they wouldn't have been just a few years ago. I bought a RPG last night with its own narrowly inspired original system. It's basically Jurassic Park and all your character stats are about escaping danger.
A RPG rulebook for a game of escaping from a dinosaur park by a creator in Colorado named Stacy Mitchell. It's clearly inspired by Jurassic Park. It has its own rulesystem called DODGE!. The cover art is a black and white drawing of a t-rex splashing in a stream. There's a square black and white sticker promoting the creator's other Mork Borg derived game WITCH.The player sheet for the "Prehistoric Perils" DODGE! game showing the character stats are DODGE, DUCK, DIP, DIVE, DODGE!.

The NYT absolutely knows people in our awful Trump economy are trying to feed their families on charity food they've been given.
The top of a recipe in today's New York Times for a dry looking "Cheesy Carrot and Lentil Loaf". It's obviously aimed at people trying to figure out what to do with the six bags of dry lentils they were given in a charity food box. Lower in the recipe it recommends serving it with gravy.
