more from the cache of finds i unearthed in my loft yesterday: a pair of poison bottles from the thames estuary. the first is from disinfectant producer sanizal and is labelled as poison; the second is one of my favourite bottle finds; it says 'not to be taken'.

actually top rightmost could be a gaming piece, i'm not sure. it's a thin bit of bone & has subtle concentric grooves the way roman game pieces often do, but where the hole in the middle is would usually be more of a slight indentation.

The Great Pustaha is a large Batak magic book from North Sumatra. Written by nine generations of datu/priest, it contains spells and potions to destroy villages, kill enemies, inspire love, and heal.
