Went to hospital today. Some who followed me on the other place might remember I had a traumatic eye injury (retinal detachment) a few years ago. I had some worrying symptoms today but thankfully all ok. It was a busy day in A&E and I ended up waiting 5 hours, but this is far from a complaint…

There is a phrase used in teaching about World War 2 and the Holocaust, which says "it didn't start with camps". Intolerance, dehumanisation, and the indifference of the majority, lead down a path, and on that path are atrocities. Today, Reform announced their plan for migrant detention camps.
