I've noticed that this inability to make a decision stems from ulterior motives. That is, many of these creators *say* they want to make a commercial game, but they actually want something else much more. They want to order a bunch of artists around. They want to lead a bunch of meetings, etc.

My buddy told me a story of how his Drill Sergeant had to teach some of his teenage recruits how to actually wash themselves. (In the abstract, because they're not allowed in the shower room.) So that's a possibility. Also, re-wearing their clothes.
