I just started playing @somethingclassic.bsky.social's Quartet, and I'm really enjoying it so far! Scratches the classic JRPG itch, but with so many nice quality-of-life features! Beautiful visuals, and super catchy music I found myself humming instantly! Looking forward to getting deeper into it 😄

Also HUGE plus point: Most bosses can be affected by stat down and negative effects. I HATE it when you have bosses that are imun to everything and so many games do that. Quartet is definitely at the top of my indie RPG list together with Chained Echoes now.

Finished Quartet and it was absolutely wonderful. Loved everything about it. Combat is basic but with enough mechanics to be engaging, story is well done, characters are interesting and have nice stories and all that in under 30h playtime. Absolute peak RPG!

A couple days ago I beat Quartet by @somethingclassic.bsky.social and it was incredible. Solid cast Good amount of side content Really fun battle system Excellent music Cool story Lots of LOL moments. I mean I got a lot of chuckles out of this game Highly recommend this AND Shadows of Adam

There's something to be said for indie games these days. I'm drawn more to games that are crafted by smaller studios, that can actually be enjoyed in 15-30 hours. I do enjoy the big titles too, but I rarely finish them. And often the hidden gems seem to have more soul. #Quartet is a good example.

In preparation for the Playstation Port, we did a full QA of the entire game (testing trophies etc...) In the testing we actually found some fun things that were never found either in beta or the entire year the game came out. misc typos, some collision stuff and a... cutscene skip! #QuartetRPG
