I'm not normally a great fan of musicals. However, having just been to Edinburgh I was persuaded to go with a friend to see the Fringe musical Edinburgh Days. It is excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. Singing was superb, the storyline excellent. I can now certainly recommend it.

So England is consulting on where people can get married. Why do they make it so complicated? In Scotland, the licence is vested in the person conducting the ceremony, not the venue. For info, not all clergy are licensed . My cousin, a hospice chaplain, has had to step in for an unlicensed minister.
