I am dyslexic. Contrary to popular belief, I am not a bad reader. I am a very good reader. However, I am also a very slow reader. By the time I was in high school, I could not finish a lot of my reading assignments by the deadlines. Graphic novel adaptations saved me.

Not everything needs to adapted into a movie or TV show nor should be. The comic medium is a unique setting that has certain techniques that do not translate to screen, and cannot be replicated perfectly. And most adaptations are just mosh-mashes of unrelated storylines that don't make sense.
