Regardless of our zip code or how much money we have in the bank, we should all be able to live and age in accessible, affordable housing in our communities. Yet, older adults are the fastest-growing age group experiencing homelessness.

I get how this happens. With platforms like Quizlet, YouTube, students can find quick answers without touching the actual course materials. But in the process, they’re losing out on the real, deeper knowledge that’s crucial for truly understanding the subject. It’s a shortcut, but at what cost?

Day 4: One thing I love about North Dakota is how dark the night skies are. We're lucky to be in an area with low light pollution, making it perfect for stargazing. On the Bortle Scale, most of the state is a Class 1-3, meaning you can see the stars in stunning detail. ✨ #photography #northdakota

Day 3 of our series: The East Norway Lutheran Church, near Aneta, ND, holds a special place in history. The congregation, organized in 1891, was led by Rev. L. L. Langehaug from 1905 until 1939, when he tragically suffered a stroke during a sermon. #photography #northdakota

Axial seamount, off the Oregon coast, is getting ready to erupt (again) in 2025. The most well instrumented under sea volcano has reached similar inflation as when it erupted (as predicted at that time) in 2015. Real time data is online for anyone to see! ⚒️🧪🌋 www.sciencenews.org/article/scie...

Plot of differential inflation from the Eastern Caldera BPR (MJ03E) minus the Central Caldera BPR (MJ03F). If the rate is positive, a blue dashed line extrapolates into the future using the average rate of differential inflation from the last 6 months; middle blue dot is date when 2015 inflation threshold is reached, right purple dot is when a threshold 20 cm higher will be reached. Specifics are included in the legend on the plot. https://axial.ceoas.oregonstate.edu/Forecasts4.html

Day 2 of the series: The East Norway Lutheran Church, built in 1903 on land donated by Johanna Newman, stands quietly in the snow, watching over the prairie. This place once brought Norwegian settlers together back in 1891. Can you imagine the life and laughter this building has seen? #photography
