Regardless of our zip code or how much money we have in the bank, we should all be able to live and age in accessible, affordable housing in our communities. Yet, older adults are the fastest-growing age group experiencing homelessness.

Day 4: One thing I love about North Dakota is how dark the night skies are. We're lucky to be in an area with low light pollution, making it perfect for stargazing. On the Bortle Scale, most of the state is a Class 1-3, meaning you can see the stars in stunning detail. ✨ #photography #northdakota

Day 3 of our series: The East Norway Lutheran Church, near Aneta, ND, holds a special place in history. The congregation, organized in 1891, was led by Rev. L. L. Langehaug from 1905 until 1939, when he tragically suffered a stroke during a sermon. #photography #northdakota

Axial seamount, off the Oregon coast, is getting ready to erupt (again) in 2025. The most well instrumented under sea volcano has reached similar inflation as when it erupted (as predicted at that time) in 2015. Real time data is online for anyone to see! ⚒️🧪🌋 www.sciencenews.org/article/scie...
Plot of differential inflation from the Eastern Caldera BPR (MJ03E) minus the Central Caldera BPR (MJ03F). If the rate is positive, a blue dashed line extrapolates into the future using the average rate of differential inflation from the last 6 months; middle blue dot is date when 2015 inflation threshold is reached, right purple dot is when a threshold 20 cm higher will be reached. Specifics are included in the legend on the plot. https://axial.ceoas.oregonstate.edu/Forecasts4.html

Women in the US might live longer than men do, but a smaller share of those years are "healthy" years--probably because women are spending so much of their energy taking care of everyone else, and no one is taking care of them.

I’m in a MAGAZINE y’all lol I hate we had to miss the big party in London, England but I am so honored to be featured in MISSION Magazine alongside 21 other amazing young changemakers worldwide The work of my nonprofit fills my soul. & so does the continued kindness of the LEGENDARY Nile Rodgers
Photo of legendary musician and producer Nile Rodgers and others holding up copies of their feature in Mission MagazineScreenshot of a physical copy of Mission Magazine from the series party at the Selene club in London"What inspires you most about your generation?"

Quote from Gabrielle Perry in the screengrab from Instagram
"Millennials, women especially, were raised with a heavy level of fear and trepidation societally. As a generation, I constantly see us looking fear in the face and moving beyond it. We reject the old way of everything. We question everything. We build and model new ways of living and thinking, and we accept that women do not exist as supporting actors in everyone else's stories. And we have modeled that for the next generations as well. I'm so honored to be a part of a generation of changemakers.”
