Been wondering what Redondo has been up to recently. I can certainly get behind a Williamson/Redondo Justice League book

LANTERNS is many things. A Green Lantern show, a good show, a mystery show. It is also a show about jackets. Every episode, someone is wearing a very sick jacket. Much to ponder.

Point six is what I think supercedes any of these points because Marvel has a lot of graphic novels. I always think about their graphic novel line from the 80s and how many bangers were in there. The problem is that they're just not in print and if they are then they are generally part of bigger-

If I could only pick one it would be Triumph and Torment every single time

"And honestly, I like it when people say, 'This is an old idea, it’s been done before, and there’s nothing new to be offered here.' Neutered expectations and incorrect assumptions are a fun starting point. " We're gonna have to invent new ways to describe how locked in Hickman is right now

I think come December Marvel will have double shipped seven of their ongoings at some point in those books' schedules. I need more insight into this shift because it has been fascinating to watch happen this year

"talent" is real but it is probably the least important part. On a long enough timeline you will become an expert in your craft if you work hard enough for long enough. It doesn't mean you'll be the best but best is subjective, being a master of your craft is not

Deeply funny that Rian Johnson gets vindicated everytime a new Star Wars movie/show gets announced

rotating an idea that halo is the defining media franchise of the 21st century. i look at how its been mismanaged for 20 years, no one working on it has a job, its games don't even sell anymore but. they cant let it die. the IP must continue. everything becomes halo on a long enough timeline

tim sweeney gave everybody a button that says 'press this to make your game look like shit' and not pressing that button would take marginally more man hours so every publisher mashes it with their palm while trepanning themselves with an icepick

Truly one of the great three album runs of all time. Beach House were moving like demons in the 2010s

The problem with listening to Beach House is I feel like I can't JUST listen to Teen Dream. I gotta listen to Bloom and then Depression Cherry afterwards in order to complete the set

Something I've realised is that well construction television will often stand the test of time. Comedy might age less gracefully than its peers but a well constructed joke can sometimes make one laugh even if it is found to be problematic. Good storytelling is robust even when tastes change

This isn't an exaggeration btw, according to his afterword from volume 1 he explains that the stroke *paralyzed half his body* and yet he still persevered and ended up making one of my favorite series I've ever randomly stumbled upon. It's *such* a good manga/anime and I adore it so much

Postscript from the end of Dara-san of Reiwa, volume 1:

Thank you very much for checking out my comic.

When I first started to publish "Reiwa no Dara-san" on the internet, I had no idea that it would end up in volume-form.

A few years ago, I actually had a stroke that paralyzed the right half of my body, and I wasn't sure if I'd ever be able to draw manga again. Even though my right hand still doesn't work as well as I'd like, I'm still encouraged by the fact that I was able to publish Dara-san after my injury, and that it was well-received.

I would really appreciate it if you would follow this manga, which features mostly girls and is like a melting pot of my fetishes, all the way to the end.

I didn't know Josha Cassara. But I know a lot of people who knew him, and good lord, he seems like an incredible dude. And his art brought me, and so many, immense joy. And he was so young. What a tragic loss. Just tragic.
