I know that probably doesn't make a lot of sense, but... ya know: same outcome, but with a little less stress in the middle. 🤷🏼 A therapist once asked me how I feel about to do lists. I told her that I'm great at making lists. Detailed, organised, agonised over... and then I forget they exist. 🤷🏼

Confession time: I have a pocket notebook on me almost always. I write all sorts of things down in it and then never look at them again. It doesn't really help remember stuff reliably, but I don't get stressed over trying to remember things that I know I'll forget.

Today's edition of "Anything to avoid even slightly inconveniencing our furry family members": I dumped the laundry on the couch for folding. It started raining and she came in. She just stood there, staring at her spot and me, back and forth, until I moved the laundry... 😅

Fluffy grey dog, Thyra, curled up on the couch and giving me (behind the camera) an "I'm not angry, I'm disappointed" look. Right next to her is a mounta8n of laundry in need of folding.

Three small houseplants in ceramic pots. A struggling fern (who doesn't love a fixer upper, right?), a dracaena fragrans, and one that has pointed oval leaves with shiny stripes, but I don't know what it's called

So many things! The accidentally oversized tree, finished my crochet blanket, so much food portioned and frozen for later use, time with poochie, and just now DnD with the most wonderful people. I could get used to this! :-)

An oversized Christmas tree, lit in multicoloured lights, covered in angel hair and baubles.

A big stripey crochet blanket. The stripes are wavy (shell stitch) and in various colours from yellow through reds and blues. The borders are yellow and plain.
