Today's edition of "Anything to avoid even slightly inconveniencing our furry family members": I dumped the laundry on the couch for folding. It started raining and she came in. She just stood there, staring at her spot and me, back and forth, until I moved the laundry... 😅

So many things! The accidentally oversized tree, finished my crochet blanket, so much food portioned and frozen for later use, time with poochie, and just now DnD with the most wonderful people. I could get used to this! :-)

How it started - how it's going. Just a few finishing touches left to do in the morning and I'll be good for the evening. :-) Three weeks from initial sketch to completed dress.

A quick and rough colour pencil sketch of a green corset with gold accents, with an organza covered skirt underneath.

The dress now real. The only thing that changed is that I ditched the sleeves and the skirt is now cream, instead of green. (I played fabric chicken and lost. Oh well.)

I know you're not asking for advice, so feel free to ignore me. ;-) I have the same issue and fixed it with a seatbelt adjuster. I didn't know they existed!! I made mine, but you can buy them, too. Piece of leather or cloth with snaps that let's you move the thing to the side!
