You pay your taxes. Small businesses pay their taxes. But America's biggest corporations have rigged the rules so they pay nothing. It's insane and it must change. Here's the link to the report.

At Least 88 Profitable U.S. Corporations Paid Zero Federal Income Tax in 2025
At least 88 of the largest corporations in America paid $0 in federal income tax for 2025. Corporate tax avoidance has increased at least in part due to President Trump's “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” ...

Today is the 251st anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops. I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III. Remind you of anyone?

I don't recall any previous transformative technologies that had to be sold to the public so hard. No one in 1999 was going, "Guys. Cell phone? It's coming, whether we like it or not. I think it's important, FOR WOMEN ESPECIALLY, to learn about cell phone. So that we're not left behind!!"

Remember when Trump fawned over his wealthy donors, calling them “rich as hell” while promising to give them tax cuts? That's one campaign promise he didn't break. But everyone else didn't get so lucky. [@itep.org]

Just a quick reminder that Ronald Reagan yanked the solar panels off the White House. If America had remained on the path Jimmy Carter set us on, nobody would be talking about the Strait of Hormuz or gas prices right now. Republicans have been fucking America and the world for decades.

I distinctly remember my cross country coach negatively commenting on the weight of our fastest runners, saying things about how they’d need to lose weight to get even faster. It was alarming to witness.

We are being reminded that a fundamental issue of our day isn’t the size of the government or how to make government more “efficient.” It’s who our government actually works for. Should it work mainly for big corporations and billionaires? Or should it work for the rest of us?

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
