This is my first dive and hoo boy! 🥵 Several days in and I’m only 1.25 hours into cutting, swapping, deleting, moving, rearranging, glueing, and spit polishing a 3.5 hour AP, and it may still end up a bunch of bullocks. 😅

Why does it take so long to edit a podcast? To start: 1. Get a noise profile on the 4 hour track 2. Adjust as needed 3. Set the profile in noise reduction and apply 4. Get some groceries, read Gravity’s Rainbow, or workout 5. Repeat 1-3 for next track 6. Sleep, only three more tracks to go

Huzzah! They arrived, although the packaging left a lot to be desired from Drive-Thru. Big ol’box, only two pieces of bubble protection, and four books tossed about willy-nilly. Haven’t done a full inspection, but the potential for wrinkled or folded pages is high.

My 85 year old father has never shared a dream with me, but yesterday he told me he had dreamt he was lost in an huge weird city. Nothing looked familiar and everybody he tried to talk to walked by as though he invisible. He seemed a bit shaken and upset.

My wife is currently stuck in traffic on the 60 in SoCal. It is so scorching today that the cars are radiating and trapping heat on the highway, making it 13 degrees hotter. That is 10 degrees more than what Death Valley is currently. 🤦🏼‍♂️🥵
