I used my writing break for The Witcher, so it’s back to scheduling & timelines. Over my six monitors are a dozen different timeline ideas & products, and I’m trying to figure out what happens if X moves to Y, then Y slots into M… All of these Excel sheets are making me question my life choices. 😂

Just finished #StrangeNewWorlds S4E10, & honestly, it was the season’s best. It was basically a riff on a bad #DoctorWho episode… and somehow did it better. 😂 I’ve got conflicted feelings about the series, as it started feeling more and more like the Kirk show at the cost of the our regular crew.

Solo parenting means running the kiddo everywhere for her thousand activities, grabbing a post-activity dinner with her buddy, and then helping with history homework. So I’m squeezing in a little #DeltaGreen work while they chill. Parenting is basically project management, but with more driving. 😂

"Crunch" in #videogame dev is neither a right of passage or a product of poor scheduling. It is a *MANAGEMENT CHOICE* to grind free work out of people and stretch them beyond their usual man-month capacity. It is, quite literally, monetized burnout where the company wins and you lose.
