I didn't know every character on Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave has their own battle music. Cai's song is so unbelievably good I just assumed that's the universal basic battle theme.

Draw This, Then Die was a sleeper anime hit this season and it luckily just so happened to air while I got much more actively into drawing. The show has this very simple, furiously empathetic view on what it means to create art, what makes art "good" and why people make anything.

kinda makes me feel like I'm losing my mind in a very mundane way when I find an empty VHS case in a forest path and it's for a relatively obscure, favorite movie of mine

Yellow leaves and blades of grass on a moist ground. On top of them is an empty, half open plastic VHS case for the movie "Bringing out the Dead". Blurbs on it are in finnish.

Fortune's Weave starts with this neat cold open, but it's pretty weird you're basically forced to play it in english dub. Seems like an oversight.

Is the intended viewing experience really trying to get to know 100 competitors, watching 3 eps, getting to know 100 other competitors and then switching between the shows until they are done?

So Physical 100 Italy and P100 Mexico are currently releasing simultaneously in a zipper schedule. Netflix keeps up the effort trying to find the scientifically worst release schedule for everything.

Mostly ownership thing, easier to loan and sell stuff. Also letting 3rd party stores to compete with the prices so that the publisher can't control them completely. That said, switching cartridges is getting annoying.

A lot of very important boring stuff ended up working out and I'll always be thankful for that, but I think a mix of shame and deluded perfectionism kept me from working towards goals in a meaningful way. That hasn't gone away, but it's way better now that I'm conscious about it.
