I've waited 33 years from when I heard it first as a plucky 16 year-old to watch #JesusChristSuperstar performed live. No more! That ends tonight at the Marina Bay Sands theatre in #Singapore. Too bad my 9 y.o. isn't allowed in. #Musical #Theatre

After you take a snip with the Snipping Tool in #Windows11, you can right click on the window in the taskbar and select to take a time delayed screenshot - it used to be in the snipping tool UI when you started it and was convenient... but at least it is some place #Tech

Yesterday (and today) have not been great days for the reliability of my #WIndows11 laptop. Looks bad :( especially as it died many times while working. It is new, though - not experienced Explorer failures like this in the past couple of months at least. #Tech #Windows

I think #GitHub has a "peculiarity" that if you have more than 1000 unread notifications in your Inbox, it just tells you 1 rather than an exact number or 999+ or something. #Tech #Development

For me (a seasoned #Windows user), the Emoji Panel in #Windows11 is objectively worse than #Windows10. It's sparser (6 vs 8), adds unnecessary hierarchy to reach a specific type & has long text in "symbols" that hides the types. Can we configure to the W10 version? #tech #microsoft

I think the #Lenovo #Thinkpad P14s Gen 6 objectively _looks_ worse than the Gen 1. The glossier top cover is a fingerprint magnet and the darkened Thinkpad (instead of the sliver one) makes it looks cheaper - the whole setup reminds me of my son's Ideapad. #PC #Technology

The new #Thinkpad P14s Gen 6 changes keyboard layout subtly: • instead of right Ctrl for CoPilot, they used Prt Scr which become a Fn+ key - good! • But, but, but... they swapped the Left Ctrl & Fn - breaking 25+ Yrs of familiarity, and diff from the ext keyboard. Swap in BIOS?

We can complain all we like about "Control Panel" not being in proper "Dark Mode" in #Windows 10 but these 2 settings screens are not all the same - losing Control Panel will be a huge loss if functionality isn't fully ported over (or available through some other way) #Microsoft #Tech

Of course, #Windows being Windows, it means that you can endlessly customise it - you can change the default icon for these file types in the registry to something that fits you better - the icon's not the old one (which also you can get) but looks better to me. I can write this up, if you care
