Spare a thought for the late Malcolm Nash on the death of Garry Sobers. I must first have seen this clip during a rain break in a one day game (probably involving Glamorgan), on the Beeb in the early '90s. And that is how I became aware of Sobers.

On an early trip to London as a child I was taken to see ‘Hockney Paints the Stage’ at the Hayward Gallery. I still remember gleefully and obliviously running about and exploring what was for me an “immersive” exhibition. A postcard remained stuck on my wall for many years after.
