We're by the sea for today's #OnlineArtExchange @artukdotorg.bsky.social We've chosen the paintings of Alfred Wallis - a self taught artist who first picked up a paintbrush aged 70! Having lived by the sea all his life, his works often feature port landscapes made with household paint on cardboard.

London's burning, London's burning 🔥 Today marks the 360th anniversary of the Great Fire of London. William Taswell (1651-1682) was a schoolboy witness to both the 1665 Plague of London and the 1666 Great Fire of London. In our collections we have his firsthand account of these historic events.
