Come open a new door of the 2024 OFMD Advent Calendar with us, every one of the first 25 days of December! ✨ All our beautiful collaborators are here to spread Holiday Cheer & ‘general-End-of-Year’-Cheer to the fandom! ❄️✨💜🥰 (Profile run by TillyChMo)
![Ed and his workmates and other small queer businesses have been having their shared end-of-year holiday celebration at the same venue for the last five years. It's a bowling club which hosts all sorts of events, from barefoot lawn bowls to holiday parties to weddings.
Stede recently cancelled the wedding he was supposed to have at the same venue, but is yet to receive a refund of his booking fee. He's turned up to the venue in person to demand his refund, coincidentally while Ed's holiday party is happening.
It's summer in so-called Australia, and there's something in the air. Is it the gift of love or just an incoming summer thunderstorm?

Notes:
CW: There is some discussion towards the end of the fic about infidelity in Stede's previous relationship with his ex and in Ed's previous relationship with his ex.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:56vln7ue3ik7pclfkskklmg7/bafkreid3mips4cokvded2qaykknt6lysmlqe7q4rw2by5as3fwczmwqcky)
