Tom @nowwearealltom.com · 4hthinking I might try and get a job as a data center. I'm well qualified. I drink a lot of water and the average american citizen does not want me in or near their community 020
Tom @nowwearealltom.com · 9hI did the same with a 2018 Mac Mini, which I only still have because Apple refused and returned it when I tried to trade it in. Now I’m glad they did, I tried a couple different Linux distros on it and it’s a great lil ubuntu home server now 020
Tom @nowwearealltom.com · 30/09/2026I will happily sit through even the most dogshit episodes of Doctor Who made by human beings, and have done so often. Complaining about the bad stuff can be part of the fun. But if transformer and diffusion models are substantially involved, I won't watch. I'll root for it to fail from the sidelines 110
Tom @nowwearealltom.com · 30/09/2026It's kind of pointless to draw hard lines against "AI" because "AI" is a marketing term and not a real thing, what counts as "AI" changes day to day, and companies try to make "AI" features unavoidable. But if the people making Doctor Who tout "AI" as a major part of their process, I'll be out. 100

Tom @nowwearealltom.com · 26/09/2026There's no viable alternative to Excel for this competition, which is not operated by microsoft, but I still feel it's important to say fuck microsoft. Arguably I could just not compete, but, well, this is where I've landed for now. 100
Tom @nowwearealltom.com · 26/09/2026I talked about this a little on stream last night but BDS's targeted boycott of Microsoft is, as I understand it, focused primarily on xbox and gaming, secondarily on copilot. For other products they call for people to seek alternatives "when possible." 110

Tom @nowwearealltom.com · 21/09/2026Firstly, I think more and more people are gonna find their own ways to watch this content without ads. But I also predict that corporations will notice this trend and the respond harshly to it. So, uh, if you're one of those ad-free viewers, just make sure you're braced for that 110
Tom @nowwearealltom.com · 19/09/2026I was so taken with yaz's visual storytelling in this that I had to get his untranslated Jesus manga which is also stunning. the penitent thief looks exactly like amuro which is fun. I'm hoping to snag some of his other historical manga elsewhere 010
