I have aircon in my office that heats in the winter. The heating costs about four times as much to run as the aircon does. Are they not allowed heating in winter either? Aircon is becoming increasingly essential in this country.

We couldn't find it online, but dug out an old bafta screener, many of which were destroyed during various tidy-ups. But we kept Dean Spanley, because it really is the most extraordinary film, with a perfect cast. It's a good lesson to teach our kids that it's all right to cry in a movie.
