The game is surrounded by shade and it's REALLY gross. It was apparent to me the moment I saw it that it used AI. They are using people's complaints as a way to cover up the inconsistencies from their prompts 100%.

When I was around 5 or 6 I got my PS1. Brother (20 year age gap) gave me a copy of the OG Resident Evil and just told me "Play it at night." I got to this iconic scene and it legit traumatized me for DECADES. Wasn't until RE2 remake I got over my zombie fear.

Specifically it's autonomy. They hate not having control over other people. It's why they're rape defenders, pedophiles, anti-choice, anti-LGBTQ+, anti-education. It's because they relish over control. If they cannot control someone else they feel insignificant.

Finally, Crash Bandicoot is the game that got me into platformers. I will unfortunately compare every platformer I play to Crash Bandicoot, because I've played this game on my original PS1 so, SO many times. Besides FF9, this was my 2nd most played Playstation title.

Night in the Woods is a personal one that I won't get into too much, but I relate to Mae immensely. Her struggles are struggles I still deal with today, but playing this game in my early-20s hit me hard and made me feel less alone.

Dark Souls is the game that gave me my love for challenging and pushing myself. It's why I play every new game on the hardest difficulty, even if it kicks my ass. The feeling of accomplishment once I actually start to learn it.

Amnesia, while not my favorite horror game, is the game that got me into horror. I was terrified of horror until I forced myself to play Amnesia back in 2012, and I fell in love ever since.

Pokemon Silver is kind of a no brainer and needs not a lot of explanation. It was my first video game, period. It helped me learn to read and it is what gave me my love of collecting things.

The Sims is a weird one, but both it and WoW similarly fit the same category for me. I wouldn't be a PC gamer if not for them, and both of them helped fuel my love for story telling and my creativity. Bonus points, WoW is the game that helped me slowly realize I was a furry, so that's cool.

Noko @nokoface.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

KH2 and FF9 both kind of fill the same role for me. I would not have absolutely fallen in love with RPGs and stories if not for these games. They taught me that games were so much more than just pixels on a screen.

100

Noko @nokoface.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

This was hard because I wanted to put games that legitimately shaped who I am today. If not for any of these games I don't think I'd be the same person. FF9 probably the most influential for me. Zidane's motto of "You don't need a reason to help people" stuck with me ever since I was a kid.

I *do* like doing fanart sometimes when I get a neat idea.. Good Hunter cooper...

a furry/fan art portrait of Sly Cooper from his namesake grame franchise dressed like a bloodborne hunter, in one hand holding a saw-spear inspired version of his cane and in the other a long revolver based on the one used by "Tennessee Kid" Cooper, an ancestor of his from one of the games.

He's got the long coat and hat of the regular hunters from Bloodborne but in a blue that better matches his usual clothing from his games.

#SciArtSeptember 8: Ruby Cuckoo wasps are like tiny living jewels. As nest parasites of other wasps, they are high in the food chain and sensitive to environmental change. A study from a few years ago showed they have declined sharply in Finland.
