What I watched for the 2026 Halloween season
Updating as I actually watch the entries on my list of films for Halloween. I have already done some subbing and rearranging of my original planned list which is why I am not putting it up ahead of time.

Netflix just added THE SENTINEL (1977) and DRACULA (1979) w Frank Langella + Hitchcock's PSYCHO (1960) and its 2 sequels w/ Anthony Perkins. Netflix has this licensing deal w/ Universal but keeps cycling in the same films. If only Universal owned some other famous horror movies! #FilmSky #Halloween
A lobby card for Hitchcock's PSYCHO (1960) w/ Anthony Perkins. A lobby card for Michael Winner's THE SENTINEL (1977) w/ Chris Sarandon and Christina Raines. A lobby card for John Badham's DRACULA (1979) w/ Laurence Olivier and Frank Langella. A lobby card for Richard Franklin's PSYCHO II (1983) w/ Anthony Perkins.

ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS began its run on NBC this week in 1960 (after 5 years on CBS). Hitchcock himself directs Emmy winner Audrey Meadows, who mines Roald Dahl's wry tale of infidelity for both comedy and pathos. "Mrs. Bixby and the Colonel's Coat” isn’t streaming, but you can watch it below 🔽
