Happy Birthday to the great ⁦‪Walt Simonson‬⁩! I met Walt at a convention in Miami in 1981 and commissioned a Batman piece from him. Three months later, this beauty arrived from him. It hangs in a place of honor in my office.

I designed this book about Les Paul. Paul McCartney wrote the book’s foreword. I had amazing photos and images to work with, photos taken at Les’s home of his guitars and studio, along with countless photos from his time performing. I also designed a signed, limited edition version of the book.

Now it can be revealed. My poster for Eddie Muller’s movie DANGEROUS CITIZEN: The Life and Times of Abraham Polonsky. The movie will premiere at the Locarno Film Festival. I also created the graphics for the film. It’s a brilliant and vitally important movie, especially in these times.

Yesterday, I bought the beautiful facsimile of BATMAN #251 that DC released. It’s an impeccably produced reprint of one of the greatest Batman stories ever. On the right is my original version from 1973, signed by Neal Adams when I interviewed him in his NYC studio.
