IDK why I put myself in the queue for Siri AI as soon as I got iPadOS 27. I think it was because 1. I'm a UI nerd and wanted to see what it was like and 2. I was worried it was gonna make my normal Siri experience worse and if it does, I'd rather get ahead of it, give me the wrench, etc.

If you use an Apple device, you can confirm your age on Discord without resorting to the corrupt and dodgy k-ID. Log into Discord on your Apple device, then go to your account settings. Select 'Apple App Store' to confirm your age. Apple will confirm your age without sharing personal info.

iPads still aren't real computers, but permanent menu bars in iPadOS 27 edge them closer to the impression of one.

Combined a cheap laptop stand and a second-hand USB-C hub into an ergonomic drawing setup for my iPad 😊. Now I have a convenient and distraction-free study space 🎉

A silver, lifted aluminium stand with a USB-C hub attached to the back with velcro cable tidies. Multiple cables are coming out of the hub.

It amuses me that at some point Apple stopped bothering to add graphics for device models in iTunes. My iPhone 11 (2019) has an actual picture, my iPad Pro M4 (2024) has a placeholder graphic. (Yes iTunes is an app that still exists, and regrettably, I still have to use it for various reasons)

Some of my favourite designs from the future Euro banknote proposals, designed by Rubio & del Amo and Cruz más Cruz. Check these out, they are incredible. www.ecb.europa.eu/euro/banknot... (They're marked as 'Design G'.)

All of these banknotes in this post depict their subject matter in 4 equidistant, rectangular blocks containing large geometric shapes (usually circular or semi-circular) in which items are spaced within and much of the artwork is rendered in concentric microprint. They are also all portrait orientation.
