A side project I'm working on - an unofficial docs-style site for the open source Ink scripting/interactive fiction middleware. It takes all of the content in the official writing guide and breaks it into step by step chunks with flowcharts and further explanations. It has a reference section too!

A dark theme docs page about fallback choices in Ink. There's a sidebar with sections, a middle column with the content and a right sidebar with a breakdown of the sections in this page.

The same style of docs page as the previous image but on a different article, showing an ink example and a flowchart of how that works in practice.

Same format page as the previous two, but with a reference guide on Branching and Flow. The currently visible section talks about how addresses work.

Got a lounge chair from IKEA's reuse section at a really good price. Combined with my coffee bucket as a side table, it makes a nice makeshift reading/drawing area that I've really been wanting. Been reading way more already.

iPads still aren't real computers, but permanent menu bars in iPadOS 27 edge them closer to the impression of one.

Combined a cheap laptop stand and a second-hand USB-C hub into an ergonomic drawing setup for my iPad 😊. Now I have a convenient and distraction-free study space 🎉

It amuses me that at some point Apple stopped bothering to add graphics for device models in iTunes. My iPhone 11 (2019) has an actual picture, my iPad Pro M4 (2024) has a placeholder graphic. (Yes iTunes is an app that still exists, and regrettably, I still have to use it for various reasons)

Some of my favourite designs from the future Euro banknote proposals, designed by Rubio & del Amo and Cruz más Cruz. Check these out, they are incredible. www.ecb.europa.eu/euro/banknot... (They're marked as 'Design G'.)

All of these banknotes in this post depict their subject matter in 4 equidistant, rectangular blocks containing large geometric shapes (usually circular or semi-circular) in which items are spaced within and much of the artwork is rendered in concentric microprint. They are also all portrait orientation.

I was initially annoyed that the only E27 RGB bulbs at my local IKEA only came bundled with a Matter switch, but this switch has been really cool. It's allowed me to change lighting scenes without breaking my flow, unlike Siri (poor accuracy) or getting my phone/watch out (painfully slow).

An IKEA BILRESA Matter Switch. A capsule-shaped white object attached magnetically to a black pole above clear speakers and plastic ferns. It has two spherical indentations on the top and bottom - one larger than the other, and a small hole for an indicator light in the middle.

My lamp broke recently (and the HomeKit bulb with it 😢) so I cobbled together the cheapest possible replacement for it that attaches to my pegboard with improvised IKEA items.
