There are three factions of fey in Pilonia, the Daccians (balance), Macerai (give), and Vertrun (take). Avisarah is the Daccian steward of the region she lives in. #QueerPrompts

Avisarah would make a great head librarian at a massive historical library. The place would be silent, the books would be well guarded, and she would be stern but kind with everyone. Intimidating, but soft if someone asks about her favourite topic. #QueerPrompts

NixFlare | Author Phoenyx Lee @nixflare.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

One of the themes I've tried exploring with Bound By Thorns is identity. Avisarah spends a lot of the book figuring out who she is, what that means for her, and how that affects grief, love, family, and survival. #QueerPrompts

Since starting the first 10 chapters and refining them, I've added and removed a few characters. The one that's getting the most air time right now is a character named Faraday. I thought she was a one-and-done mention, but she keeps coming back for more. #QueerPrompts

The biggest change for a character is probably how much Theonidas Jorts has grown from something created to drive plot, to someone who has their own POV, subplot, and happy ending. The name comes from a member of my Twitch community, and he's one of my favourites to write. #QueerPrompts

Avisarah is respectful to higher ranking elders. She understands her future role, so there's also a bit of entitlement sprinkled in. Once she's the one in charge, the people she once spoke to with respect have to answer to her. She still looks up to them in private. #QueerPrompts
