By the way I'm now looking for gigs / employment again. If you're an #indie studio looking to launch a #kickstarter I'm available for free consultation and planning. If you're a larger studio the same offer applies except if the campaign gets funded there will be a 2% - 3% fee.

If the gamedev community has unanimously flocked to Bezi over Unity’s official AI tool after all these years of Unity AI’s existence, there’s got to be a reason. #gamedev #unityai #unitydev

“A dying culture invariably exhibits personal rudeness. Bad manners. Lack of consideration for others in minor matters. A loss of politeness, of gentle manners, is more significant than is a riot.” ― Robert A. Heinlein, Friday

Researchers found that a majority of English majors at two universities in 2015 could not functionally understand passages from Charles Dickens. which does validate my ever-growing concern about how a lot of people who use text-based social media appear to be unable to read

'Bleak' seems about right

An interesting take on a fairly depressing study about English majors' reading abilities. Spoiler: most can't read.

House reboot, but House dies in the pilot of an OD, and they resurrect him using an AI version of himself that he's been training in his spare time, complete with one of those telepresence iPad robots that allows him to wheel around the hospital, occasionally glitches out Max Headroom style.

Gen X is not immune from criticism but I think it's worth noting that the "45-64" bracket includes a few years of boomers, and even within "45-60," someone who was 18 in time to vote for Reagan is a VERY different person from someone who lived through Reagan/Bush and whose first vote was for Clinton

No plans for the website at the moment but there are a few ideas kicking around on the game side of things.

Used book, first page. Can't wait to read the annotations. Real words filled with real emotion on real paper makes me nostalgic for pre-Internet years. Won't call out the author cuz he's a personal favorite of mine, hence the black bar.

Would not be surprised if this was at least in great part about advertising. This is what most of my block list looks like.
