KO_OP offers people not just respect and dignity, but agency. (And they treat their actors as collaborators, not assets, in so much more than lip service.) They’re actually doing the ‘better way’ we yearn for….even when the way is a struggle. Please hire these folks, support however you can.

I've chatted with folks at GDC about the AI bubble. The consensus is that regardless of your area, to get venture capital you have to pitch your product as involving AI. It's such a boilerplate word now but context should give away which AI we are discussing imo.

The fact #GDC doesn’t have free food is insane. Making indies pay $15 for basic entrees (or $20 for noodles lol) makes no sense. They can definitely afford a basic level of catering with actual premium options for those who wants more.

Whenever I see a student pursuing cybersecurity, a solid question to ask them is "What is the best Anti-Virus program?" There are a multitude of ways to respond to this question, and more often than not it forces them to think deeper about the differences in protection needed for different groups.
