The way AI rejects the idea that humans need to develop skills or knowledge feels very anti-human, and anti-civilization to me. Even the brightest most tech positive visions of an AI future, when tempered by the understanding of the realities of its use by people, becomes a dystopic nightmare.

A problem I always have with UE is many tasks require jumping between multiple complicated interfaces. Working on a project in UE often left me with that feeling where your in the kitchen but can remember why you went there till you go sit back down at your desk.

Saw a trans woman who was calling the femcel a terf and angry about the story centering on her, and also mad that the other character was a "femboy." Like, if you're mad that a boy is wearing skirts then you're only one step removed from a terf. Some real narcissism of minor differences.

Like, policing of gender norms is why we used to need a years real life experience to even get hormones, and it only counted if we wore dresses and skirts and did our makeup every day. It's not less shitty to say you think boys in skirts are gross just because you're trans. It's basically terf shit.

So, in this comic, the boy never refer to himself as a femboy, and Shen hasn't done that either? So I have to assume your objection is that you think it's wrong for guys to wear skirts, and, friend, that's still policing of gender norms. It is only one step removed from terfs.

To them, there are only male and female, and each has a correct expression, anything that deviates too far must transition. Failure to transition is interpreted as some kind of hate crime. Fuck off.

Some of the reaction to Shen's "The Boy From Venus" series have reminded me of how many trans women are completely gender essentialist. A guy wears women's clothes and to them that must mean he's a trans woman. I hate these bitches.

I will try again eventually, but it might be a while, so patches will have to do for now. I'm getting kicked off medicaid soon though since work requirements aren't waived anymore and I haven't been able to even get a job interview since 2020. Annoyed getting an associates in 2024 hasn't helped

I think the biggest problem was piercing a vein on the third week. A bunch blood shot out when I removed the needle. I was still acclimating and getting over my fear and no one warned me about that possibility, so I was not prepared and freaked out. The other part was childhood trauma.

Kept trying to calm my mind and overcome the fear, but it started seriously affecting my day to day function so I gave up. If I lived with someone who could do it for me or if my doc wasn't 30 mins away I wouldn't have a problem, but unfortunately that is not the case.

I did read that before and it was part of what made me open to trying injections when pills gave me trouble. The first time was surprisingly not terrible? but then it somehow got harder each week and I started dreading it, having constant nightmares where I was stabbed with needles.
