Toooootally. evertime I see one of these conversations on "AI art" it's so centred around making something that's just for the user, as if the point of art is to make something for one person, instead of asking people to gaze into a beautiful abyss and draw what they can't describe.

this guy is just an AI booster on Twitter, of course he's going to have this opinion because it lures in the town he's currently trying to sell a monorail to, but it's not actually real. When guys say this, they don't actually know or care about music or history, they just care about the attention

The general public hates AI music.

Here are other things the general public hated over the years.

1920s: microphones.

The idea that you could project your voice was lambasted by critics for being "manipulative" when they were first released. Today, microphones are pretty much a requirement.

So much of the lens on culture has been turned into a numbers game, where everything is about chart placements and streaming numbers and data. Its a horse race to who gets to do data best, and all of these dorks forget that people just want a song that will make them cry at the grocery store.
