I know a woman who is CONSTANTLY "embarking on a new [MLM] journey", and I guarantee she'd stick with one of she got paid, so yeah, social security is not a ponzi scheme, except for the fact that I've paid in and likely won't collect. But that's not new news.

So, apparently the rich people casino aka the stock market is taking a hit ahead of the tariffs. I'd feel bad but the money I have in that game (due to index funds from my retirement account because we demolished pensions) is negligible compared to the damage they are inflicting daily.

My family has cut back on spending because one of us works for a nonprofit and the other works in a public school and we aren't sure if we'll be employed this time next year. I know we're not alone in this thinking.
