made it to our seats-but not without leaving the scooters up
front! © Our kids' scooters have become more than just a
way to get around; they're their best friends, entertainment,
and games all rolled into one! At airports, while waiting for
flights, they zoom around, keeping themselves entertained
and making the whole travel experience way smoother.
Our foldable scooters (available on our Amazon storefront—
link in bio) are typically considered personal items, so we
usually get to carry them on. Some airlines check them in at
the gate or just in front of the plane, while others have us fold
them and store them under the seat.
Here's the kicker: there's no consistent policy on foldable
scooters, so each time we fly, the airline staff has to figure out
what to do with them. Almost every person we've
encountered on our 50+ flights has either seen them for the
first time or had to double-check the protocol! But honestly,
it's never been an issue.
If you're thinking of traveling with scooters, we definitely
recommend them. Just be ready for a bit of extra time at the
airport as the team figures it out. In the end, it's always been a
positive experience for us!
