It's the worst. Playlists drive me crazy, I find that tracks get substituted for similar tracks on live and other albums. I only use Music because Apple acquired Primephonic several years ago, but Apple Classical is trash compared to what Primephonic was . . .

@firefox.com What has happened to Firefox on iPadOS? It is unusable since the UI update for iOS26. All links are opening in new tabs, and most frustratingly, switching back to a previous tab causes it to scroll to the top, which can be a complete disruption. This is really bad - please address this!

If you’re wondering what a spreadsheet looked like in 1800 BCE, here is one that tallies foodstuffs for cattle received by four cowherds. Three are named in the right hand column as Ubar-Shamash, Sin-iddinam, Sin-re’um, and the last one making the record simply writes “mine”

Years ago, after the Cambridge Analytica scandal, I interviewed a former fb employee, and I remember her continually emphasizing that these tech bros weren't evil geniuses, but were, in fact, dangerous because they were utterly clueless, totally reckless, and had too much power.
