been thinking about redeveloping Winston-Salem and just really think this parking lot could be rebuilt as a building with community space and a lounge for people taking the bus, and a series of apartments on top, just topping off a few floors above the Marriott

Ay up! The North of England had a plethora of railways serving its residents, and the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway was one of the largest, with lines stretching from coast-to-coast. Our upcoming L&Y Class 25 is going to look right at home coupled to the classy L&Y Evolution coaches.

This is the most important picture from the RAIB bulletin... It's a lateral kink that likely snapped into a buckle under the rear part of the train, but given discussion by the RAIB over embankment condition, the specific trigger remains unknown. Still plenty that's now confirmed though.
