I think Rahm Emanuel has done some good work in the Clinton and Obama administrations, but for the guy who had a disastrous run as Chicago mayor to speak condescendingly about progressives is sad. Especially given the inequalities he fostered in housing and schools as mayor in Chicago.

I think we're missing the headline here. Senator Kennedy is basically saying saying that the GOP believes that the Dems attempts to hold the administration accountable is a "game" to make them "look bad," and that the GOP does it to Dems, and now he's saying it's hurting the bureau.

The reason I don't like Piker, is the reason I don't like many online commentators (mostly young men) in the political space (as stated above). But associating candidates with Piker's takes when the candidate has never said anything remotely close to that is GOP/Fox News levels of illogical.
