Yeah, at the least it's handy for getting in close to kitchen benches etc. Mine has a single footrest plate that folds up such that it barely sticks out further than the front wheels (Just grabbing the latest photo from my gallery, excuse the cats)

I'm fortunate to have a small one. It's against the safety instructions, but indoors I often use it with the foot rest raised so it's more manoeuvrable in tight spaces. I'm not recommending that; just saying it's Usage As Applied (as compared to Usage As Designed)

THREAD: 1. Some years ago women academics contacted me unsolicited on Twitter (which I no longer use) about an academic in Melbourne. They’d made complaints to a faculty head about the man’s targeted, obsessive bullying of women colleagues, including First Nations women. The university kept him on.
