The theme of #NationalBereavedParentsDay2026 is #Thisismyplace, and in this excellent blog Dr Jon Griffiths reminds us of the relationship between grief and space. As he tells us, “To comfort me, you have to come close”. Read it here: www.ncmd.info/blog/jonatha... #AChildOfMine #NBPD26

We're delighted to have so many of our charity collaborators with us for our charity network meeting (and to have @sharedhealthgm.bsky.social's Sam Pratt presenting!) It's always so valuable to get your input, and to find new opportunities to work together to improve and save children's lives.

We were absolutely overwhelmed to receive this standing ovation when @sstoianova.bsky.social and @emilytammam.bsky.social spoke at last week's #EAPC2026 in Prague. A testament to the important work of our programme in recent years, and how we are bringing it to new audiences around the world!

We were delighted to attend Parliament yesterday to share evidence from the database, highlighted in high-profile academic papers, on knife crime and its impact on children and young people. This was a really valuable conversation, but more can be done to save children's lives.
