The measles outbreak in Enfield saw 250 suspected cases - it began in a primary school with 40 unvaccinated cases then spreading into unvaccinated Somali and traveller families. Catch up clinics didnt work, but call / recall by GPs saw more vaccinations than any month since 2018

Children's health outcomes can be profoundly affected by housing instability. ❗️From 1st September, local authorities will be required to notify GPs when a child moves to temporary accommodation. GPs can then take practical steps to support children and families throughout their homeless journey.

We found big gaps in use of 2 effective, cheap, simple #antenatal treatments to protect #preterm babies. In theory they should be accessible to all mothers, in all resource settings. About 3/4 eligible mothers get them in richer countries, but only about 1/2 in poorer countries bit.ly/40sNIon
