Last remnants of humanity watch powerless from the International Space Station as the final pockets of the Earth's surface are consumed. Our planet is now an anchor for Xipe Totec, the alien organism we were powerless against, as it continues spreading throughout the cosmos.

Planet Earth as viewed from the International Space Station. Most of the planet's surface is covered in an enormous mass of flesh, tendons and eyes squirming as they grow to cover the last patch of untouched surface, an unassuming part of the ocean.

the images of earth from artemis ii are absolutely gorgeous

Earth as seen from the Orion capsule. It is divided sharply in half, with a line running diagonally from the 11 o'clock to the 4 o'clock. The lower left half is a bright pale blue. Its surface is covered with swirly, puffy white clouds, with texture indicating different thicknesses. The upper right half is dark, with no illumination from the Sun. Earth is set against the black of space. Credit: NASA/Reid Weisman

$One-third of Earth peeking through the window of the Orion capsule. The planet is a dreamy pale blue, swirling with white clouds and reflected sunlight. Although Earth only fills a fraction of the image it is the brightest object in the image by far. The capsule window is surrounded by a thick frame held in place with bolts, reminiscent of a heavy duty airplane window. It is dark in the capsule, but the outlines of straps and various components of the capsule are visible. Brighter white components are visible in the upper right corner. Credit: NASA/Reid Weisman$

A full disk image of Earth, as seen from the Orion capsule. The planet is a pale blue, swirling with white clouds and glowing slightly lighter blue in place from reflected light. From about 8 to 9 o'clock, a large brown landmass is Africa, with the Iberian peninsula twinkling with lights just where the planet curves. At the 1 o'clock spot, aurora glow in a thin green glow, just barely separated from the planet's surface. Earth is set against the black of space. Credit: NASA/Reid Wiseman

It does look weird in a lot of places, like the angle of the sword, or wtf is going on with that steering wheel, the chest pieces, the mouth, lots of tangents, my AD would kill me for all that 😂 I do hope in THIS case it's just the byproduct of insane crunch, rest idfk

Both hands have claws, the number of fingers could be a human error yes, if there are any ayeeye elements they're heavily overpainted so I wouldn't be so sure, however A lot of work of this nature is outsourced with its own pipeline that may or may not include ayeeye to cut corners so who tf knows🥴

Same, it was so disappointing. Yet I never unfollowed him because it just felt like a massive lapse in judgment (that guy just gets excited about -everything-). His brother though. I used to follow both before I even knew they were related. Shad used to be just this eccentric but creative lil guy :(

Digital painting of a centaur. He has long white hair, a pair of small pegasus wings protruding out the sides of his head, and his lower torso is the body of a white horse. He is drawing a celestial bow and arrow that are silvery white, and he is prancing on clouds, with four doves flying beside him.

What happens during/after is individual (pain tolerance, skin composition/thickness, overall health, tat complexity etc). The artist might slap some Saniderm on it and there'll be an ink/plasma/blood/lymph soup under the film, it'll be pretty gross (ink bleeding is normal). Keep your artist updated

No coffee/alcohol/aspirin (avoid all blood-thinning substances)! Get some sleep and have a nice meal prior! Books/podcasts/movies during the session. Ask for breaks. Don't use painkillers or numbing creams without asking the tattoo artist first. The artist will provide the proper aftercare routine

I thought exactly the same. I did a complete 180 on it when Kim Jung Gi passed away & his work was immediately fed to an AI model. Can't even describe the horror and disgust I felt. The feeling is still lingering thru the barrage of AI slop being shoved in our faces every day. JFC just make it STOP.

it's so funny seeing the hucksters of AI simultaneously have to argue with the public that anything made with it is actually just as much hard work to create as ever and to the investors that it makes everything effortless and removes all need for work at all

Check out this new #JWST image. It's another stunning view of the deep universe, but in the box at right is a small, red blob. That's a galaxy in which a supernova was detected in March. That galaxy is thirteen BILLION lightyears away. It's the oldest supernova found so far.

A field of stars and galaxies against the black of space. A box to the right highlights a small region in the upper right of the main image, and contains at its centre a small, dark-red blob.
