The CUNY and SUNY faculty should create an alliance also. The elite institutions around us (NYU, Columbia, Yale, Princeton) are far too invested in their status as elites to stand up to the authoritarian state, but for those of us that educate actual working people - SOLIDARITY IS OUR STRENGTH.
