I joined Governor Kathy Hochul at SAG-AFTRA as she signed my bills with Linda B. Rosenthal and Tony Simone regulating AI likenesses in ads and entertainment. New York is the first state to enact these protections as Big Tech looks to replace human performers with synthetic ones

Today is Puppy Mill Awareness Day. Since my Puppy Mill Pipeline Ban with @lindabrosenthal.bsky.social went into effect last year, we've seen retail sales of dogs, cats, and rabbits plummet. New Yorkers are instead adopting and shopping with reputable breeders, a huge win for animal welfare
