To anyone considering a leadership challenge I say - put the country first, not your own interests or those you might claim are the interests of the party. Keir Starmer has a massive democratic mandate from the public, nobody has the right to seek to depose him, nobody. buff.ly/cI7lfBP

The UK Treasury is losing £90bn a year due to Brexit, and UK GDP has fallen by 6-8%. Farage was happy to claim credit for Brexit. He should also claim credit for the economic damage.

So, I've got some questions for Nigel Farage, about his £5m gift. Here's one: "You have previously stated that on police advice, you hold no parliamentary surgeries…Given that we now know you have a large private security budget, why are you unable to hold constituency surgeries?" Here's the rest:

Today in Brexit Britain you are being asked to believe that a Thailand-based cryptocurrency tycoon secretly gave Nigel Farage - the person, not his party - five million pounds without any hope or expectation of getting anything in return.

Starmer has acknowledged many times the appointment of Mandelson was a mistake, first time was when he fired him in September 2025, he said it again when the 2009 emails were revealed in January and again in March 2026. How many more times does he have to say this before the media move on!

What should have happened: the REIT paid no tax but the Tice companies holding shares in the REIT paid £98k tax on the dividends they received.

What actually happened: none of the companies paid any tax.

Massive humiliation for Farage, who tipped off the UK press that he was flying to Florida to have dinner with Trump... only for Trump to decide he had more interesting things to do when Nigel arrived.
But, rather than receiving a formal
invite to meet Trump, Farage was in
fact invited to Mar-a-Lago by a
member of the club, according to
multiple people briefed on the matter

They said Farage had hoped he would
be able to catch Trump for a
conversation as the US president was
scheduled to travel to Mar-a-Lago that
evening. However, Trump had a
change in his itinerary and decided to
stay instead in Doral, about an hour`s
drive away

The Reform leader's failure to secure
an audience with the US president
underscores a weakening of ties
between the two populist leaders who
famously formed a close friendship in
the vears before and after the 2016

Just spotted that the Brexit Party - headed up by Richard Tice - was subject to a 'compulsory strike off' by Companies House. This is serious. Company directors (Tice was one) could be disqualified and "unable to become a director for 15 years...They have failed to act in the right and proper way"
Lawyers Forbes Burto: "If directors, or their accountants, don’t file accounts or reply to any communications from Companies House, then the company will be struck off the companies register and cease to exist.

"The consequences of this type of action include:

Any assets that are in the company, such as cash, stock, or buildings will become property of the Crown
Directors could be disqualified and become unable to become a director for 15 years in the future, as they have failed to act in the right and proper way
Any debts the company holds could become the liability of the directors, as they have failed to close the company in the correct and lawful manner
It could be very difficult to get credit in the future, as banks may not be as willing to lend to you
Contracts with future suppliers and customers could be at risk – any contract that is between a company and its suppliers or customers will probably cease when the company is struck off"

This is big. Far-right troll site Guido Fawkes has always claimed it isn't subject to UK libel law as it's officially offshore. Today it conceded that it defamed Dale Vince, making clear it it's subject to UK law. No more dodging scrutiny. Staines will have to play by the rules like the rest of us.

Dale Vince
@DaleVince
Guido Fawkes used a doctored news clip to smear my reputation and it snowballed into a right-wing pile-on involving the Daily Mail, GB News, three Tory MPs, one Peer, Richard Tice and Paul Staines.

Having just beaten the Daily Mail for the second time - If this were a football game the score right now would be seven nil. I believe in free speech and a free press - but neither of those things is the freedom to be dishonest.

The court ruling today makes clear that I was seriously defamed by Paul Staines and that left him with no real prospect at a full hearing. He has therefore conceded. Paul Staines is now liable for substantial damages and costs and must remove the pages on his website which contain his falsehoods and refrain from repeating the allegations.

I believe this case is the first successfully pursued against Paul Staines and his Guido Fawkes operation. Staines has in the past bragged that his offshore operation enabled him to operate outside of the laws of our country – I am happy to have burst his bubble. From now on he will have to be diligent and accurate with what he publishes.
