Laughing along to the Murderbot Book 1 audiobook has been a real blast on my way to and from work. Or was until I pulled nearly every muscle in my chest and stomach being violently ill for 5 hours. Now it just hurts. Great audiobook though! I have a suspended hold on audiobook 2 through Libby.

One of the most annoying things about ADHD is the task drop. You finally start some long, possibly multi-stage activity, and somewhere in the middle of it you wander off and never come back. It was hard to start, and it's harder to restart and impossible to finish.

My favorite is when people who have no experience of a thing think they can talk all day about a thing. If you don't have ADHD, then how do you "know" it's over-diagnosed? If you don't need SSRIs, then how do you "know" others don't need them? This is literally basic empathy.

Basil has dug out half of the dog toy basket and has left them scattered across the couch and dog beds underneath the coffee table. She certainly is my daughter.

I was very brave and strong today. I got my COVID booster and flu shot yesterday and feel like death but I got up at 8, got my old car picked up and sold, found a notary (on a Sunday! That was a miracle!) and drove across town to pick up my payment for my car. I am now legally allowed to crash.
