Poland minister of foreign affairs implicitly states any new Russian airspace intrusion will be met with force. Guess the Russian pilots now have to guess: ”Did they change the rules of engagement or not…”

Someone on here compared AI produced material as "digital asbestos " which in a few decades' time we will have to work out how to eradicate from the fabric of research.

after days of grifters and con men at CES we stumbled upon the booth for VLC. they were all dressed as wizards and told us, "we have nothing to sell, we just decided to show up". i told them I'd been using their software to pirate media for 15 years and they said "keep doing that"

rust-analyzer now has some basic* parameter variance inferrence and it shows it on hover! *basic as in it can't handle cyclic dependencies yet for temporary implementation reasons, it also struggles with usages within const arguments.

Screenshot of hovering `Option`'s `T` parameter showing that it is covariant

Screenshot of hovering `RefCell`'s `T` parameter showing that it is invariant

Screenshot of hovering `Path::new`'s `S` parameter showing that it is contravariant
