It is kind of funny how I have become addicted to reading on Reddit and News (CBC, Ground News, and Google News) than using social media. I wouldn't call it productive. Anyways, how are y'all doing?

"Sri Lanka" is news all over. But it is for a war no one wanted and Sri Lanka had no part of it. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Super dissapointed and saddened by actions of the USA and Israel. But not surprised given how they disregard human lives, profit from wars, and vote for fascists.

Most of mass shootings in the west are done by white, Christian, and cis men. But nobody talks about the murder unless it is a gender minority and/or non-white person. These racist and homophobic people really don't care about victims or well-being of the society. They are just bigoted.

Looks like we will have the same opposite leader despite his loses and questionable histories. But honestly, is Canada losing having a strong opposite party?

Why don't our provincial and federal governments want to launch a national grocery store chain? It could be a government-backed co-op. I personally think it would be a better strategy than giving rebates. #cdnpoli

Mark Carney delivered an excellent speech in Davos. It has really good points to think about. Trump made a speech on the following day at same location. His speech is a good example of what Mark was saying. Let's see we will actually do it! #cdnpoli theconversation.com/mark-carneys...

Mark Carney’s Davos speech marks a major departure from Canada’s usual approach to the U.S.
Mark Carney clearly hopes a new global world order may emerge that’s not only more resilient to diverse and unpredictable threats, but is more honest and just.

Disabled people experience loneliness not bc we’re misunderstood. Not bc non-disabled ppl don’t genuinely care to try. It’s ableism-fueled ostracism. And GPT-whatever-the-fucks aren’t even in the same galaxy as solution(s). They’re scratchy, plastic fibers in the weave of technoableism.

No one chooses to be disabled or chronically ill. It’s not a moral failing. People blame the disabled because it makes them feel morally superior. They can tell themselves it’ll never happen to them. It can happen to anyone. It’s a minority group you can join at any time.
