5) there is a more logical explanation: lots of cheaper ACA plans have very high deductible and copays, so that you’d still avoid getting health care unless or until your seriously needed it. People choose these plans either because they think they’re healthy and won’t need it, or can’t afford it.

3) the only logical argument here is if insurance companies are signing up fake customers and then taking the government subsidies for that coverage, while paying out no claims. IF that is happening, it would be business/corporate fraud, not consumer fraud.

A couple quick observations here, which should be obvious. 1) insurance “risk pools” work by requiring younger/healthier people who make few or no claims to sign up and pay premiums alongside older/less healthy people who do, essentially covering their costs.

Reading is for everyone not just people with gigantic book haul budgets. Do we want people reading less? You want to decrease your customer pool? Like this is a literacy issue, a love of reading issue. I talked to kids everyday about reading AND adults. If ppl like reading and get $ they will buy.

They have author talks and invite book sellers where you can buy copies, here. Also, if someone encounters your book in the library and they love it

I was writer in residence at my local library this year. I got a message once from someone saying she had read my book through her library and then went out and bought 2 copies for the academic institution she works for. Libraries pay for books an introduce people to reading which helps writers.
